  • 1.  URI issues for Monday

    Posted 11-05-2010 14:24
    Greetings!

There are three URI issues that I will *not* be able to apply today.

    Those are:

    http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-3440

    http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-3435

    http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-3432

My suggestions is that these be added as one (1) issue for Monday and
that anyone who wishes to speak on these issues be given 5 minutes to do
so. Everyone gets to speak *without interruption or correction* from
    others.

Then we quickly take a roll call vote so I can enter whatever resolution
a majority of the TC desires.

Failing that, I will simply enter a resolution and TC members can vote
for or against the next draft based on their evaluation of the
    importance of this issue.

We have to get past this to move onto a release, etc.

Hope everyone is looking forward to a great weekend!

    Patrick

    Patrick,

this works me, except that we need to discuss and vote on the issues
individually, since they are very different.

Sure, I wasn't indicating a process preference, merely to identify the
issues and get them on the agenda.

Hope you are looking forward to a great weekend!

Note that OFFICE-3435 is not an IRI issue. It is about the HYPERLINK function, not about it having a text parameter called IRI in the description of the function. (There is no use of any URI anywhere in OpenFormula, as far as I recall.)

I hesitate to mention this, but there is an IRI pattern used in the syntax for References and for Named Expressions. This is inside of formulas and is also not about schema validation or attribute values that are any Uris, etc. Presumably the host is responsible for resolving those along with resolving the Reference and the Named Expression occurrences.
