I just plain spaced out. I will definitely be at the next meeting,
and please call me at the number in my signature if I'm not there
within the first five minutes or so. We've had this problem before a
lot with RIM, so we've tried to send out reminders frequently. It's a
problem when folks have burning issues elsewhere, I understand.
It's really a pain since I actually decided not to send the email I
worked almost an hour on because I didn't think I could persuade
people to my viewpoint. When the SOA Reference Architecture goes out
for its second 60-Day Review, I will be a lot less taxed. Problem is,
it is crucial to a lot of other efforts including EDXL-RIM, and we're
trying to get alignment and some degree of harmonization with the
SoaML from OMG and The Open Group SOA Working Group efforts.
I will also be helped by getting CAP-IPAWS Profile and CAP 1.2 out
the door, too.
Speaking of the RIM, is there any chance either of you guys can make
Thursday's meeting so maybe we can do the groundwork for a simple
explanation for the EIC readership? Jeff Waters has a talent for
boiling stuff down to understandable chunks.
To make things a bit more complex for me, I'm crafting an NCOIC
Integrated Emergency Response Services (IERS) Pattern in the Services
Working Group, also using all of this work. Just thinking about all
this stuff is making my brain hurt.
Cheers,
Rex
