    Posted 04-21-2009 16:29
I just plain spaced out. I will definitely be at the next meeting,
and please call me at the number in my signature if I'm not there
within the first five minutes or so. We've had this problem before a
lot with RIM, so we've tried to send out reminders frequently. It's a
problem when folks have burning issues elsewhere, I understand.

It's really a pain since I actually decided not to send the email I
worked almost an hour on because I didn't think I could persuade
people to my viewpoint. When the SOA Reference Architecture goes out
for its second 60-Day Review, I will be a lot less taxed. Problem is,
it is crucial to a lot of other efforts including EDXL-RIM, and we're
trying to get alignment and some degree of harmonization with the
SoaML from OMG and The Open Group SOA Working Group efforts.

I will also be helped by getting CAP-IPAWS Profile and CAP 1.2 out
    the door, too.

Speaking of the RIM, is there any chance either of you guys can make
Thursday's meeting so maybe we can do the groundwork for a simple
explanation for the EIC readership? Jeff Waters has a talent for
boiling stuff down to understandable chunks.

To make things a bit more complex for me, I'm crafting an NCOIC
Integrated Emergency Response Services (IERS) Pattern in the Services
Working Group, also using all of this work. Just thinking about all
this stuff is making my brain hurt.

    Cheers,
    Rex

    Understood Tim,

I'm working on getting my ducks in a row too. We're on the verge, (I
think, I hope) of having more substantial resources to work with, and
hey, we're not used to that. So we'll have to adjust.

    Folks,

See below.  I neglected to include the full TC on my message this morning.

    Thanks,

    Tim

Subject: [emergency-msg] SitRep call a bust - RSVP for April 28?

    Folks,

We didn’t have enough folks to do the call today.  I realize the TC has a great many irons in the fire right now…

Please RSVP to tgrapes@evotecinc.com to get a feel for planned attendance next Tuesday, April 28 from 10:00 – noon EST ending just before the regular  OASIS call.  This was previously scheduled a second session in Kavi as well, but that day is a long commitment and we should confirm this will work.

    Thanks,

    Tim

Just notices I haven’t received this yet through OASIS either – removed the attachment…

A reminder that we’ll be conducting our first walk-through of the SitRep submission today at 10:00 AM EST – number below.

FYI, attached is the word version of the main document in case you’d like to use it to make notes.  This was used to create the submitted pdf copy.

    Thanks,

    Tim

    Oh Darn!

I just completely spaced out working on SOA stuff. Unfortunately I
didn't look at my calendar and I didn't get this until after the
meeting was over due to slow email. Tunnel Vision!!!

    DARN!!!!!!
