    * Rollcall

    Yue Ma, IBM
    Patrick Durusau
    Dennis E. Hamilton
David Wheeler, Institute for Defense Analyses
    Kohei Yoshida, Novell

    Michael Brauer, Sun Microsystems (presiding)
    Eike Rathke, Sun Microsystems
    Svante Schubert, Sun Microsystems
    Oliver Wittmann, Sun Microsystems

    * 8/12 voting members present, so quorum requirements have been met.

    * The agenda was approved

    * Minutes from 2008-09-22 coordination call:
    http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/office/200809/msg00091.html

The attending TC members unanimously accepted the minutes.

    * ODF 1.0 errata

The two outstanding errata items have been discussed:

    item 1) Resolution for 15.27.22 (style:wrap-dynamic-threshold is
    misspelled in the schema).

    Three options do exist:
    1) Correcting the spelling error in the schema.
    2) Adapting the name of the attribute in the descriptive text to the
    misspelled name in the schema.
    3) Omitting a resolution for the errata.

The TC conducted a straw poll whether or not option 1) is considered to
be a substantive or editorial change. All attending TC members
considered this to be an editorial change.

Michael suggested to adopt option 1) as resolution of the error. This
was accepted by the TC with one objection.

    item 2) Resolution for 17.5.

Patrick reported that he is in contact with Murata-san regarding a
wording for the two paragraphs in question. A proposal may be ready for
the next TC call in two weeks.

    * Ballot for proposal "extending stroke dash"

    http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/office/200808/msg00125.html

    The proposal was unanimously accepted.

    * Discussion of proposal "handling of hidden cells in a
        spreadsheet document"

    http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/office/200809/msg00045.html

It was clarified that the default value for this attribute is to
include the content of hidden cells. It was suggested that the default
value is added to the proposal.

It was further suggested that the attribute is renamed to
    "chart:include-hidden-cells" or "chart:include-hidden-data".

    * Discussion of proposal "default values"

    http://wiki.oasis-open.org/office/proposal%3Adefault-values

It was clarified that the purpose of the proposal is to resolve
ambiguity problems caused by the use of the RNG DTD Compatibility
specification. It is not a the purpose of the proposal to achieve that
all same named attributes have the same value range.

Michael suggested that he prepares an ODF 1.2 draft until the next TC
call which includes the default values as text as proposed, and that the
TC then formally accepts this draft. No objections were raised.

    * Discussion of proposal "default styles"

    http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/office/200809/msg00053.html

Mingfei prepared a document that lists the ambiguous default values for
formatting properties. It was agreed that Mingfei prepares proposals for
the values that should be used in that case. This may be reviewed by
the TC. When the default values have been agreed, Michael will convert
the spreadsheet back into ODF default style definitions.

    * Discussion of proposal "Metadata for embedded documents"

    The proposal was discussed.

The meeting was adjourned at 5:00pm CET
