Hi Sander, Dale I am back from travels and conferences so will make it tonight - please send the webex link as I don't have a calendar entry. Hi all,

I have another meeting today at the same time so I wouldn't be able to join.

However if you are going to talk about Pull Authorization issue, I do have a question about how to authorize via digital signature. So I would like to post my question as below
and hopefully your discussions can resolve my puzzle:

Basically in an incoming Pull request there's no any information about who the pulling party is, so what's the best one to identify who the party is in order to uses the right certificate
to authenticate and then authorize the request? The only thing I can look is the KeyInfo element in the signature, such as the certificate serial number, etc. Is it the right and reliable one to identify a pulling partner?

    Thanks,
    Rong

Hi Rong Seems a problem in connecting to the meeting - it goes to the one scheduled for next week. On your question - we use the MPC to which we have associated the UT. We then search the truststore with the UT name matching the alias. Hope that helps. Theo, Thanks for answer my question. But I'm talking about using digital signature alone - no UT is used here so you cannot use UT name to search the truststore. Thanks, Rong

Yep - the way I explained requires no UTs in the signal - only the digital signature. Ie. map it internally in the config. Theo, Thanks for the explanation. To confirm with you, you are talking about using the MPC in the request to map to a UT, which is pre-configured. Thanks, Rong
