JB: A UBL workshop will be held in Beijing 29 November as
part of the 2007 Open Standards International Conference.
Presentations will include a UBL overview from Tim McGrath
and a demo of the U.S. Department of Transportation's
          Electronic Freight Management Initiative.

GKH: Have sent dates of upcoming CEN/ISSS BII workshop
          face-to-face meetings.

       Liaison reports

AS: TBG17: UBL is well represented, and UBL participation
          continues to build.

SW: It would be helpful for TBG17 to know when UBL will be
submitting ACCs as agreed in Stockholm.

JB: Will put this on the Atlantic agenda for TM.

       Subcommittee report: TSC

AS: Still trying for a meeting this week.

Review of Atlantic call of 12 September

ACTION (8/15): JB to begin an email conversation
             regarding the proposed namespace-based versioning
mechanism with selected people outside the UBL TC,
starting with the Danish government (PB), HL7 (Ann
Wrightson), and ACORD; to include GKH, MG, TonyC, BH, and
             ZR.

GKH: The discussion has restarted but is approaching a
                conclusion.

       Support Page submissions

AGREED to create a new section: "UBL-related contributions
from academia"; same basic review process as other additions
          to the Support Page.

    2008 TC WORK SCHEDULE

Setting basic 2008 targets so that we can begin constructing a
timeline. This will include both the 2.0 Update Package and
       UBL 2.1 scheduling.

As TM was unable to attend due to travel in Europe, this will
be put on the agenda of this week's Atlantic call.

    2008 TC MEETING SCHEDULE

       28 Jan - 1 Feb 2008 in Manhattan

Due to a conflict with an X12 meeting and a CEN/ISSS BII
workshop meeting the same week, we will ask in the Atlantic
call whether moving the meeting to the week before or the
week after is a possibility. (It may not be.)

March 2008 in Rome (together with UBL International Day)

Discussion still in progress among the organizers of the ID.

       August 2008 in Montral

Facilities have been promised for the week of 4 August (the
week prior to the Balisage conference in the same location).
We need to formally confirm this.

AGREED to these dates for the meeting in Montral.

       January 2009 in Fremantle

          Still tentative.

    UPDATE PACKAGE

ACTION: JB to write up a list of specific work items.

    CL TRANSFER (TRACKING)

ACTION: JB to add to the update work list the items relating to
the CLR TC decision to take over the CL Methodology work.

JB/GKH: This means: update the genericode files to
genericode 1.0 (as opposed to just correcting errata).

PACIFIC ACTION ITEMS FROM MANHATTAN (TRACKING)

ACTION: PSC and TSC to provide feedback on UBL 2.0 SBS 2.0:

          http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/23873

          Pending.

ACTION: PSC and TSC to summarize business rules that are (1)
wanted in UBL but not allowed by [i.e., capable of being
addressed by] the NDR (e.g., requirement to include one of
PartyName and PartyIdentifier but not both) and (2) data items
whose constraints are inherited from another standard (e.g.,
lengths of data items specified by UNTDED); the rules so
identified to become candidates for a list of schematron
assertions "recommended to be included" (final characterization
       TBD).

          Pending.

    TC CONCALL SCHEDULE
