BDXL 1.0 COS COMMENT RESOLUTION LOG
The TC had received one comment for the BDXL 1.0 COS public review:
https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/bdxr/201703/msg00012.html It was agreed to include the missing non-normative _javascript_ example in a new COS archive and submit to TC Admin as non-substantial change.
SMP 1.0 COS COMMENT RESOLUTION LOG
The TC had received one comment for the SMP 1.0 COS public review:
https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/bdxr/201705/msg00003.html In eSENS specific implementation of SMP, the communication is encrypted on an AS4 messaging level and the same certificate used for verifying the receiving endpoint’s signature is
also used for decryption. It was discussed that this specific use is specific to eSENS’ implementation. No other similar use case is known to the TC. It was agreed that no change is required to the SMP specification, and to defer discussion as to whether SMP
should contain an element for encryption/decryption in future versions of SMP.
Additionally, the TC received comments after the end of the public review:
https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/bdxr/201705/msg00011.html It was agreed to respond to these comments directly on the TC mailing list. Kenneth to draft a reply.
SLASH AND BACKSLASH CHARACTERS IN SMP
See:
https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/bdxr-comment/201705/msg00000.html It was discussed that it should be recommended in general to avoid the use of slash and backslash characters in SMP implementations, however there might be specific implementations
where the use of these characters is needed and/or security implications are managed within the network, why their use should not be restricted in the specification. The recommendation will be reviewed for inclusion in future versions of SMP.
ANY OTHER BUSINESS
There was no other business.
