Registering OpenDocument Database MIME type and File Name Extensionsat IANA - (ODF 1.2 draft 7-5, Appendix C)

In the latest public draft of the ODF 1.2 specification the MIME
type and file name extension of the ODF Database document is missing in
the Appendix C, as the MIME type has not been registered at IANA.

Nevertheless the schema for database has already been defined in the
    draft (e.g.

We didn't discuss this on the call, but it seems like a reasonable thing to
do, especially since the Appendix is non-normative (and probably belongs in
the Packaging document when that is ready).

Also, you might consider correcting the typical filename extension for
application/vnd.oasis.opendocument.text-master from ".otm" to ".odm" since
.odm is in use (at least by OO.o). See

As there are no objects I will register the OpenDocument Database
document as previously described by the IANA.
Please let me know if anybody is aware of further applications
supporting the ODB format aside of

    OpenOffice.org 3
    OpenOffice.org 2.4 (import)
    StarOffice 9
    StarOffice 8 PP10 (import)

As Dennis stated there is as well an issue in the MIME type declaration
    of OpenDocument Global Text documents.
The MIME type suffix has been erroneously defined at IANA as 'otm'
instead of 'odm', as used in the ODF spec and in the implementations.

If there are no further objects, I will try as well to get the IANA
    definition fixed.
