Patrick *********************** Patrick: Quorum - yes Patrick: Action Item - Patrick to review liason report by end of week Patrick: Agenda - approved by consent Patrick: Minutes - approved by consent - July 19th 2021 Patrick:
https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-4107 Patrick: Alfred - needs to report on the use of color - set to next week Patrick: Andreas - coding what applications do or should do? Patrick: Andreas - has red numbers - negative numbers - if show all red numbers, will I see all the red numbers, not why they are red Francis Cave: Sorry I'm late! Patrick: Andreas - what does it mean to compare colors? what does red mean? Patrick: Francis, I'll update the attendance, thanks! Patrick: Andreas - colors are usually by data styles - we need to all color the same way Patrick: Regina agrees it needs to defined precisely Patrick: filtering on appearance - everyone assigns the same way, pre-question to how do you compare colors? Patrick: Alfred - Excel supports cell color and font coloring filtering - not sure which one is data styles Patrick: Svante, updating attendance now Svante Schubert: thx, Patrick (sorry for being late being travelling by train with dealys) Patrick: Svante, not a problem! Patrick: Alfred - will try to get a final answer from Excel next week - Patrick: Alfred - plans of LO if not supported in Excel - Patrick: Patrick - comparison of colors is of RGB colors Patrick: Regina - filtering should not be based on screen color (accessibility) but on the assigned color Patrick: If change color for accessibility, then the filter changes in both places, red -> blue - selecting blue gives the correct result Patrick:
https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-4108 Patrick: Example from Michael:
https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/office/email/archives/202108/msg00003.html Michael Stahl: we have 2 proposals with some differences; the main differences are independent so we can mix and match the parts we like Patrick: will need to write the old and new way - producer can write both - consumer ignores the old way - should put prefix and suffix into the new proposal Patrick: Andreas - prefers a reference to having an element for the style Patrick: Quoting entry in list needs to preserve the list level information for display in a quotation, for exampel Patrick: exampel -> example Regina Henschel: currently text:reference-format Regina Henschel: The text:bookmark.ref has a text:ref-name and references a text:bookmark-start, which is lokated in the text:list-item. From there you get the level and style information. Patrick: Regina - Use of elements gives us automatic ordering, instead of attributes Patrick: Next step, description text to go with Michael's schema proposal Patrick: Michael can do that!
