telecon July 8, 2022 Scribe nomination Roll Call Next meeting: July 22, 2022 Voting Rights Held by: Kazuo Yabuta Masaki Wakao Tom Kamimura Shigeaki Matsumoto Hiroyuki Yoshida Yoshio Horiuchi Shigenori Kobayashi Chair: Tom Kamimura Scribe: Tom Kamimura Attendees: Tom Kamimura Masaki Wakao Kazuo Yabuta Shigeaki Matsumoto Shigenori Kobayashi Discussions 1. Lyo Toolkit Matsumoto-san is working on creating a PROMCODE server based on the information Wakao-san posted at Slack on the implementation of a PROMCODE server using Lyo Toolkit. The work is still ongoing. He has discovered problems with the definitions of properties 'requiredBy' of Workitem and 'producedFor' of Artifact. Each of these properties has two classes as its range with different cardinality, one as 0 to many and the other as 0 or 1. These cause errors in compiling code generated by Lyo Toolkit. Since the normative definitions of Shapes do not have this problem, This does not require the change of the PROMCODE model. 2. Potential application areas of PROMCODE in system integration projects. We had some discussions on the subject. Matsumoto-san indicated that there is a need of systematic data exchange in system integration projects that could benefit from PROMCODE. Kobayashi-san said that even though agile projects are increasing in their system integration business, the business volume is still small. It was agreed that getting overview of system integration business and the role of agile will be very helpful for the TC. Kobayashi-san agreed to gather information and will try to share that with the TC at the next call. Wakao-san also agreed to talk to Nikami-san to get similar information and perspective of IBM. Actions: Kobayashi-san to gather information on NEC's system integration business, status of agile projects and opportunities of PROMCODE. Wakao-san to talk to Nikami-san to get IBM's view on the same subject. Matsumoto-san to continue to work on his PROMCODE server implementation using Lyo Toolkit. Wakao-san and Horiuchi-san to investigate further on how an Excel adapter can be implemented. Minutes created by T. Kamimura
