Hi members, I have investigated what Calligra does. I have found, that Calligra uses the bounding box for svg:width and svg:height. And I have found, that Calligra allows negative values for the sharpness and allows values larger the 100%. Calligra has no UI for negative values, but it renders it correctly, when it is present in file format. Values larger 100% result in overlapping. Calligra renders it in even-odd rule. Therefore now a new version of the draft in the attachment. Hi members, some corrections to the description what Calligra-Karbon does. The attachment has two examples and screenshots of opening them in Karbon. The file "InnerLargerThanOuter_negativeSharpness.odg" was directly produced in Karbon. The UI has no direct setting for sharpness but has only setting for "inner radius" and "outer radius". It allows to set for "inner radius" a larger value than for "outer radius". Such setting results in negative sharpness. In the file "SharpnessLarger100percent" I set the sharpness manually to 150%. If I open the file in Karbon, the star is rendered and the "inner radius" is negative. But the UI does not allow to directly enter negative values for a radius and will switch back to positive values when you try to alter them. Hi, I like the first draft better than the second (even if we allow negative sharpness). I have attached an edited proposal. There are still some questions though: 1) What happens if draw:concave=TRUE and draw:corners is odd. 2) What defines the location of the first corner point? (In the attached edited draft proposal I wrote The first corner point is located at the top of the secondary circle. simply for the reason that the pictures seem to be drawn that way. ) Andreas On 2018-11-21 12:21 PM, Regina Henschel wrote: Hi members, the attachment has a draft proposal to inform you about the current state. In the way Calligra uses it (=my 2.proposal), that is no problem, because the points to make it concave are additional points. 2) What defines the location of the first corner point? (In the attached edited draft proposal I wrote "The first corner point is located at the top of the secondary circle." simply for the reason that the pictures seem to be drawn that way. ) Calligra puts the outer point at "12 o'clock", in case of odd number of outer points, and puts the additional (inner) point at "12 o'clock", in case of even number of outer points.
