    Dear all,

    1. When reviewing the submitted version I noted that one of the earlier comments has been omitted. It has been suggested in the past that the paragraph below  should be removed from the text because SCA is only one of the approaches to be looked at  and therefore shouldn't be singled out.

In the OASIS SCA Member Section, the Service Component Assembly (SCA) TC is working on the componentization and assembly/composition of services, both from functional and management perspectives and the automation of operations and business processes.  Telecom specific metadata, if and where required, may just as well come as extensions to the policies associated to SCA assemblies and shall be considered as part of this TC work."

    2. I also noted that the "Out of scope" section has been "significantly reduced". I agree that probably the original text was not very clear:

    "

    "

    5. Out of Scope

Development of specific solutions to identified Gaps in this TC.

Note: The Telecom MS will assume the role to coordinate across the specification owner or best designated experts to have the work done and may spawn new TC in Telecom MS to also work on identified gaps.

    "

During the last call we even had an unofficial conversation (we didn't have a quorum unfortunately) to clarify this point. Below is my attempt to summarize the discussion. I think that it would be a good idea to include a clarification along the lines below under the "Out of Scope" section:

    "

    "

    5. Out of Scope

Development of specific solutions to identified Gaps in this TC.

Note: The Telecom MS will assume the role to coordinate across the specification owner or best designated experts to have the work done. The requirements (to address the identified gaps) will be submitted to the "original" OASIS technical committees for review and consideration. If the original committee ceased to exist or it is overloaded (and the requirements are truly Telecom specific), then the OASIS/TMS will establish its own (separate from the SOA-TEL TC) TC(s) to work on the identified technical specifications.
