I just answered one of my own questions:

I found it as IdentificationCodeType in the context of:

   cac:Country/cbc:IdentificationCode

Does anyone else find the name "cbc:IdentificationCode" when 
referenced in isolation as being a bit misleading?  Should the name 
incorporate "Country"?
