    Several minor improvements.

Please look at the remaining note / question on section 3.4: does AS4 require receipts to be passed back to the invoking application?

NRR is usually a feature that can be requested or not for the original message in AS[1-3].
Normally in AS2 the NRR is sent back by a B2B gateway either in the HTTP response or in a separate message, almost always in a HTTP POST (The RFC allows a NRR being passed back on an alternative channel with some different URL flavor.) MDNs are produced by a gateway so no contact with a backend application is required, and the semantics of MDNs does not include information about the disposition by a backend application. In ebMS we have not insisted that the MSH be integrated with a business application or that it be distinct from such applications or other middleware. I don't read what you say as changing those situations -- right?

OK, that's what I thought too, so the phrase "business receipts must be passed back to the invoking application by the MSH" is too strong, I will take it out for wd-11. Pim
