It appears that there is a requirement to generate older text-format entity resolution catalogs in addition to the XML catalogs currently being generated. This could be done by transforming the generated XML catalogs but is probably easier to implement as a variant of the current XML catalog generation process. It should be a pretty straightforward rework of the existing rng2generateCatalogs.xsl transform to generate text catalogs instead since that transform already does all the work of constructing filenames, parsing out the RNG files and so on. If someone could take on the task of implementing the text catalog generation and automated testing that would be most helpful. Hi Eliot, I'll do it. But, I can't promise it before July 7th.
