Dear CTI team: I'm sure some of you receive these messages from ISAO, the sorta-standards-like body run by UT-San Antonio which is the focus of some ISAC cooperative efforts, which overlaps some but not entirely with our communities. However, just in case, please note the upcoming awards nominations, maybe relevant to your work. Most of the pernicious-invisible-URL MailChimp links have been scrubbed from the below content; but the actual direct link for their awards nomination program is >

These awards will be presented as part of the International Information Sharing Conference on Sept. 11-12, 2018, in Tysons Corner, Virginia. The Information Sharing Hall of Fame Awards recognize those individuals and organizations who have demonstrated the highest standards of professional competence and selflessness, and have contributed significantly to the promotion of the information sharing ecosystem. The ISAO SO will be accepting nominations for two award categories in 2018: Information Sharing Hall of Fame 2018 Inductee—Individual This individual should be a notable leader and visionary based upon their leadership in advancing, growing and shaping the information sharing community. Individuals should have demonstrated success in leading information sharing organizations, initiatives or academic research. Information Sharing Hall of Fame 2018 Inductee—Organization This award honors an organization for their commitment to advancing information sharing as a vital aspect of cybersecurity defense plans. This award is open to any organization and is not limited to information sharing organizations. Nominees will be evaluated based upon the past year’s accomplishments and contributions to the cybersecurity information sharing ecosystem at large. Nominations may be submitted through the Information Sharing Hall of Fame Awards nomination page on ISAO.org. A nominee’s accomplishments and length of service are considered in the selection process to the Hall of Fame. An individual may be recognized multiple times for separate periods of service and/or accomplishments but may only receive the physical award once, presented at the annual conference. * * * [clipped] Copyright © 2018 ISAO Standards Organization, All rights reserved.
