Thanks to Tim, Werner and the other troopers that have worked hard to draw together these drafts as well as this process for documenting EDXL reusable components.   I encourage all members to become familiar with this work now.  Your feedback will be very helpful and will provide those that worked on this your support and helpful insight.  Don't wait until you need to use this or review for CS to find you have a valuable contribution that didn't get heard.  Deadline for comments is tomorrow COB. Hey All- I am trying to look over the GML SF XSD. Don, Here’s the location for the referenced gmlsfLevels.xsd: http://schemas.opengis.net/gml/3.1.1/profiles/gmlsfProfile/1.0.0/   You will note (in the OGC schema repository where this lives) that it is located with the GML 3.1.1 profile; whereas the edxl-gsf profile is based on GML 3.2.1.   I have asked Carl and other GML experts in OGC to review the draft schema for correctness and completeness (e.g., required dependent objects, etc.) but have not yet received the results of their review. I hope they may also be able to provide some help to resolve this issue you raise.   Carl, Can you help to get some expert eyes on this schema issue that Don raises? We are hoping to present this edxl-gsf profile along with Common Types and CIQ at the next EM-TC on Tuesday next week. Don (and Carl – see below), One more thing about the namespace issues and location of schemas.  I did receive some feedback a while back in the early stages of developing this schema profile for edxl-gsf that I forgot to mention. I does shed some light on the mismatch of profile namespaces, since we are planning to base our edxl-gsf profile on GML 3.2.1 simple features profile spec (with Corrigendum).   The Corrigendum is the most recent version of the OGC spec that is undergoing an electronic vote in OGC to approve as we speak (I believe – Carl to confirm). Until that Corrigendum is approved, the GML 3.2.1 profile schema will not be published in the OGC Schema Repository (under the GML 3.2.1 namespace). When that is done (after the affirmative vote) the schemas and namespaces should be available to match. All, The deadline for comments to these components expired on April 5.  Since that date a few comments are being addressed and coordinated.  Status and next steps were discussed on three calls today:  1- An ad-hoc cross-SC meeting followed by 2- The EM-TC meeting, and then 3- a call with the Natl Weather Service to discuss inputs to “weather” elements/structure.   Each component author (CIQ, gmlSF and common types) understands the final changes and coordination required for completion.  Upon completion, each of these three will individually posted.  At that point, the intention is request an electronic vote for each individually.     My question is, as each of the three documentation sets are completed and posted ready to vote, can we have one person (Werner?) perform the actual electronic request for vote?  Please let me know what you think.   ·          Rob will plan to complete the ICS form example within one week from today (April 19) ·          Our plan for immediate common types (and SitRep) submission is to have “weather” in common types simply reflected  as  two string elements, “Weather concerns” and “ o    In parallel with SitRep submission into public comment # 1, we will determine specific weather elements and structure for incorporation into a revision of the common types.  o    During SitRep public comment, a comment will be submitted regarding breaking “weather” out into distinct components o    The goal is to have the “weather” requirement completed by the time the SitRep public comment #1 time-frame is completed.   Please let me know if I have missed or misrepresented anything.
