  • 1.  Which W3C recommendation on XSL does ODF 1.2 refer?

    Dear TC members,

I'd like to ask for a clarification for me as a newbie here.

At '18.175.2 fo:border' ff. I find references like "See §7.29.3 of
[XSL]." In the latest W3C recommendation of 'Extensible Stylesheet
    Language (XSL) Version 1.1'

Should probably look to see if there are any deprecated functions as well as keeping an eye on XSL 2.0 requirements.

I did a quick scan and a few deprecated features in 1.1.  Should probably make sure we are represented during the 2.0 requirements process to avoid any deprecations of things paramount to ODF.

    Found these in 1.1:

“The use of the "text-transform" property is deprecated in XSL due to its severe internationalization issues”

“Use of the "direction" property for other formatting objects is deprecated in this specification. “

XSL 1.1 was up-to-date when we completed ODF 1.0. We have not updated
the reference since then, because ODF 1.1 and ODF 1.2 do not make use of
anything that does exist only in XSL 1.1. Updating to XSL 1.1 in any
case requires an update of references to XSL.

    Best regards

    Michael
