OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC

    A quick note to welcome Jirka Kosek, the newest member
of the OASIS ODF TC.  Jirka is also a voting member of the OASIS DocBook
TC.  Incidentally, he is the 5th JTC1/SC34 member we have on the TC.

    Our teleconferences occur weekly, on Monday at 1400
UTC.  However, the meetings on 12 May and on 26 May are canceled due
to holidays.

Thanks Rob. I will be attending teleconferences sparsely due to lack of 
time so please accept my regrets in advance. For ODF I would 
characterize myself mainly as observer, but OASIS rules forbid sending 
emails to TC list from "observers" due to IPR stuff, so I have changed 
my status to "member" but I'm not planning to become "voting member".

Anyway I have some ideas how to improve ODF schemas to more closely 
model ODF conformance (note I'm not talking about this ID stuff which is 
shaked on blogs currently), give me time to write these ideas down.
