    REVIEW OF PACIFIC CALL MINUTES

There were no comments to the Pacific call minutes.

    SMP 2.0

    - Progress on specification:
A first draft of the prose specification is ready (with currently planned functionalities) and only missing the sections related to the data model and redirection.

    - SMP redirection:
A proposal for ServiceRedirect has been added to the data model spreadsheet:
    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1OCq4BbcvV2SdH1ohJhBPFxMo3Ixm55Vo5r-5xBP7_Fw/
Further discussion postponed for next meeting.

    - Requirement for a role in service metadata
A proposal for a RoleID element has been added to the data model spreadsheet. Agreed that further discussion is needed.

    - Business directory functionality:
A question/suggestion about using SMP as a business directory service was raised during the Pacific call. The TC has previously been in contact with PEPPOL who has a business directory
work product related to their use of SMP. The PEPPOL business directory is also used by other European large scale projects as well as in Singapore. The TC had a discussion about the business directory functionality, which left some questions open:

Do we want to publish/standardize a business directory service? Yes, however it will probably be a separate work product and not part of the SMP specification. Will PEPPOL submit their specification to the TC? The answer from PEPPOL when last discussed was that they didn’t see the need for a standard, however
this might have changed. Sander will follow up with PEPPOL. Do we want to standardize a push mechanism for publishing SMP data to a business directory service?

    XHE PROJECT STATUS

TC Admin has been asked to put the public review of XHE on hold while the project group debates an issue of NDR compliance. Expected to resume the publication of the public review
    on Monday.

    ANY OTHER BUSINESS

    There was no other business.
