    * Minutes of the 2 February call were approved by unanimous consent
    
    
    * The following resolution was approved as amended:
    
    Resolution Supporting Draft Memorandum of Principles Between OASIS and 
    ISO/IEC JTC 1
    
    Whereas the members of OASIS ODF TC, have reviewed the draft Memorandum of 
    Principles Between OASIS and ISO/IEC JTC 1 [1], and have found these 
    principles acceptable.
    
    Now, therefore, be it resolved that the OASIS ODF TC expresses its 
    concurrence and support of the principles for maintenance of the 
    OpenDocument Format Standard set forth in the Memorandum of Principles 
    Between OASIS and ISO/IEC JTC 1.
    
    Be it also resolved that the OASIS ODF TC express its intent to adopt 
    Standing Rules necessary to implement the Principles of the Memorandum, 
    once said Memorandum is finalized.
    
    Be it further resolved that the text of this Resolution be included in the 
    minutes of this meeting and that the ODF TC Chairs transmit these minutes 
    to the OASIS Director of Standards.

    * ODF 1.2
    
    - Patrick is reviewing feedback on the CD01 and intents of have an updated 
    "editor's draft" by the start of next week.
    
    - Michael described his work on generating a list of attribute values from 
    the schema
    
    - TC discussed xml:id and its interaction with RELAX NG and RNG DTD 
    Compatibility
    
    - TC discussed whether a Terms and Definitions section was necessary.
    
    
    * Further processing of public comments
    
    - Comments 195-204 were discussed. 
    
    195-197 are simple typographical errors and can be trivially fixed in 
    errata and in the 1.2 draft if the errors are also there.
    
    198-202 concern vector graphics.  Members expressed a desire to refer to 
    some suitable external reference rather than redefine these terms of art. 
    Michael will check with his graphics team to see if they know of something 
    appropriate.
    
    Rob will try to resolve 203.
    
    Dennis will look into 204.

  • 2.  [office] Default Values

    Michael,
    
    In yesterday's call you indicated that default values would be removed from the schema but would remain in the text of the specification.  Based on that course, I assume that we should point out any instances where we find default values are missing and previously were in the schema or are causing ambiguity.  Is this correct?
