  • 1.  Strange requirement for ec element

    Posted 11-16-2015 10:55

    Hi,
While working with XLIFF 2.0 I found that <ec> element doesn’t have any required attribute, while I would think that at least id is required. For example for id is required. Is this intentional? If yes, how the XLIFF processor should
match <ec> tags between source and target?

    Regards

Ahoj Patriku, you need to read the Constraints. In the XSD no attribute is absolutely required. But from the Constraints you can see that different sets of attributes are required based on the <ec> being "orphaned" or paired with an . I hope this helps Cheers dF On Nov 16, 2015 11:55, "Patrik Mazanek" < pmazanek@sdl.com > wrote: Hi, While working with XLIFF 2.0 I found that <ec> element doesn’t have any required attribute, while I would think that at least id is required.
