    Hi Jane,

What is currently being proposed as the interop demo at Ditton Manor?
It would be good to see a more involved scenario, maybe with Vendors
suppling some other bits to the puzzle. EG: PIP and/ or PAP. Is the
current plan to re-demo a newer release of the VA application?

    Thanks,
    Vernon.

    Vernon and all,

There are 3 items that we are committed in providing for the interop,

    1. Business Use Case (Progress Note) which we did not demonstrate at RSA.
    2. Payload Filtering of sensitive clinical data - discussed early on but
    not included at RSA
    3. Rework of Emergency Access to cross-enterprise federated model

Also, we are branching existing app to include "Purpose of Use"(POU).
POU will influence required and granted permissions, as well as the
patient's consent directives. I am not opposed to Vendors extending or
replacing functionality within VA app for this demostration.

The plan is to begin releasing these changes to our EHTAC site in July
timeframe so members can begin to prepare.

    Hello,

The slot has been reserved for the XACML InterOp at the Forum. The demo will
occur on Wednesday afternoon, 1 October. So far, I believe that I've heard a
yes from Axiomatics, IBM, Symlabs, IBM, VA and possibly Oracle. Jane and I
have reviewed the expenses involves in providing all the benefits to the
group of participants and we have set a fee of 500 GPB per participating
    company, http://www.oasis-open.org/who/interop_demo_policy.php. I wanted to
bring another promotional opportunity to your attention. Please see event
    sponsorship information,
    http://events.oasis-open.org/home/forum/2008/sponsorship, there are various
levels and various benefits associated with each level. If your company
decides to sponsor the entire Forum, we would deduct your InterOp fee from
the cost of sponsorship, also please note there is an early bird reduced fee
for sponsorship until June 30, let me know if you might be interested but
    need more time.

When should we begin meetings to flesh out these new features?

I'm not certain what you mean by 'I am not sure how this got setup this
way.' But this is fine; I will remove Oracle from my list of participants --
    no problem.
