Given that the changes have already been made to the schema, it may well be too late to comment on this. However, I am a little concerned with the increasing complexity of the markup that may make it more consistent with DocBook (info/title vs. association) but not make it any easier to explain (I am always worried about how to explain things since I end up doing it pretty frequently with new writers). To me it describes the association of the items contained in the relationship, and while it may be used as a title in some renders, that is not the intent of the markup.
Just my thoughts, and apparently somewhat late.
