    I didn't catch the start of this thread but I'll chime in anyway:

Logic Innovations Inc. has a CAP 1.0 and 1.1 digital STB receiver with
ethernet, DVB-S (satellite) and ATSC (digital terrestrial) receive
capability. The best part is over-the-air broadcast of firmware upgrades
- if the CAP standard changes you don't have to go out and service
receivers, just click a button ;-)

allow folks to inject CAP inside IP packets into the sat or terrestrial
multiplex before terrestrial broadcast or satellite uplink.
