Subject: (book review) Loosely Coupled: The Missing Pieces of Web Services

Good review... has anybody read this book?

"Kaye tells business people why they should care about Web services.
Much of the book's premise is based on the notion of loose coupling,
which makes possible the temporary linking of components and systems
to achieve a specific business purpose... Kaye distinguishes between
the tight coupling of synchronous request and response messaging in
Remote Procedure Calls (RPC) and the asynchronous messaging needed by
Web services. Asynchronous messaging makes possible the loose
coupling of components and systems, because it allows event-driven
rather than procedural design of systems."
