    What you propose is that we use the following description:

    Correct.  

    I know we've been having some debate on the formula list on whether the preferred term is "normal" or "Gaussian".   This seems to a difference between how statisticians and physicists refer to it.  But I think we agreed that "normal" was the preferred term.

    David Wheeler, is this right?
