It turns out I was inadvertently working from an old version of the 13089 V3 spec. The correct version is much more complete and closer to the V3 requirements. However, the language reference topics are currently provided as separate topics, not part of the proposal XML doc. But they are written. I am having a bad day: the reference topics *are* in the proposal doc, as well as available as separate files. So I think the minimum V3 requirements are met. My apologies to Mark and Doug for misrepresenting the state of their proposal. Cheers, E. As long as the spec topics are in the package, I don't care whether they are separate topics or within a ditabase topic, as in the proposal template :) Best, Kris Kristen James Eberlein Principal consultant, Eberlein Consulting Co-chair, OASIS DITA Technical Committee Charter member, OASIS DITA Adoption Committee www.eberleinconsulting.com +1 919 682-2290; kriseberlein (skype) On 6/4/2013 3:08 PM, Eliot Kimber wrote: I am having a bad day: the reference topics *are* in the proposal doc, as well as available as separate files. • 4.  learningContentRef / learningContentComponentRef

Hi This may be a dumb question, and not the right forum, but does anyone know why learningContentRef and learningContentComponentRef have the same inheritance? That is: + map/topicref learningmap-d/learningContentRef for both. If someone does know, could they tell me if this should be the case? And if so, could I have a bit of background? Many thanks Ian

That looks like a bug to me. Cheers, E. What version of the DTD or XSD are you looking at? It appears to be correct in the DTDs that are in the 1.6.3 version of the Open Toolkit (which happens to be what I have installed at the moment). Cheers, E. Ah, my mistake I should have checked the DTD as well. I was starting by reading the spec so it is only an error in the spec rather than any more substantive. [The DTDs are taken from the OASIS site http://docs.oasis-open.org/dita/v1.2/spec/DITA1.2-spec.html] Ian From: Eliot Kimber <ekimber@rsicms.com> To: ian balanza-davis <ibalanza_davis@yahoo.co.uk>; dita <dita@lists.oasis-open.org> Sent: Monday, 10 June 2013, 0:43 Subject: Re: [dita] learningContentRef / learningContentComponentRef What version of the DTD or XSD are you looking at?
