    Friends,   Please see the following invitation to attend the upcoming WIS3 meeting that I have briefed multiple times during our EM-TC meetings.    You are invited to attend an important Workshop on Information Sharing and Safeguarding Standards (WIS3).  The Workshop will be held on March 26, 2015, from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, 1800 Presidents St., Reston, VA.   This interactive workshop brings together government, standards development organizations, and industry leaders to chart the future for architecture and standards frameworks for the national information sharing environment (ISE). Before the discussions begin you will hear from government and standards development experts to include:   Michael Daniels, Special Assistant to the President and Cybersecurity Coordinator (INVITED) Kshemendra Paul, Program Manager, Information Sharing Environment (PM-ISE), Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Jamie Clark, General Counsel, Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards (OASIS) Mark Reichardt, President & Chief Executive Officer, Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) Justin Stekervetz, Director, National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) Program Management Office, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) John Wandelt, Fellow and Division Chief, Information Exchange and Architecture Division, Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI); and many others.   Early Bird Discount Ends on March 12, 2015 .  You can register at this link:   http://www.ijis.org/events/event_details.asp?id=586230&group =   General  registration for non-government employees is $295 until March 12,  2015 at 5PM EDT.
