           http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/membership.php?wg_abbrev=codelist
         - I'm anxious to hear how and where people are currently using code
lists and how they hope to work with the committee deliverables
         - review of attendance requirements for voting privileges
           http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/process.php

    (2) Discussion of the call for participation (which includes the charter):

(I couldn't find an original public post, but I did find a cc by

         - who is available to test implementations? (I am for some UBL work)

    (5) Next teleconference and the use of the mail list

         - based on our being spread out time zone wise and how busy we all
are I am expecting members to contribute through the mail lists
and have fewer teleconferences that I've seen with other OASIS
committees; this will also keep our calls short

    (6) Summary of action items

    (7) Any other business

    (8) End of meeting (less than one hour, please)

Hi all - coming from a "time-zone-challenged" area of the world, I
    expect my contribution will
be mainly via email...Have a good 1st meeting.

  • 3.  Draft FAQ for Code List Representation TC

    Posted 08-28-2006 12:05
One of my TC set-up actions was to create the first entries for the Code
List Representation FAQ. My draft of these is attached (rename the ".zzz"
extension to ".zip"). Feedback is very welcome, especially questions you
may have now which are likely to be frequently asked. Thanks,

    Cheers, Tony.

PS In future, documents should be able to be posted to the TC's
'Documents' page on the OASIS Web site. However, this facility doesn't
appear to be enabled for this new TC as yet.

Thanks Tony. I am forwarding this to my colleague Carol Geyer
who is, among other things, our sharpest tool for public-facing
    materials.
See below regarding posting to the website.
         Kind regards Jamie

Items that have been posted now, so I assume that you've found
this facility. However, for the reference of others, I am posting a
separate message to this list with some pointers to technical info
on using the OASIS web tools. JBC.

    Tony,
    This looks great.

Can we add a question about "Who should be involved in this work?" (key for
recruiting new members) and "Who will benefit from this work?" (key for
    editors).

    Carol

OK, I have added these questions and my suggested answers in a new version
of the FAQ document in Kavi.

    http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/codelist/download.php/19992/code-list-representation-faq-2006-08-28.zzz

(ignore the date in the filename, it turns out to be a bad idea to put
dates into filenames that are going into Kavi, as it has its own way or
    managing versions)

    Cheers, Tony.

Oops, Kavi surprised me, the URL is actually

    http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/codelist/download.php/20339/code-list-representation-faq-2006-09-19.zzz

so the date does count (that wasn't obvious to me from the Web site after
    I added the document).

    Cheers, Tony.

    Further to my suggestions at:

         http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/codelist/200609/msg00015.html

Public readers of the archive will be able to find this document at:

         http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/document.php?document_id=20339

In my suggestions I recommend not using a
separate document title, and I describe how the
URL posted by Kavi Automatic Email Notifications
    is always a password-protected URL.

    Thanks!
