    2. Announcements; none

    3. report back from Nordic TechComm conf (Frank)
    - Frank; was quite large, 100 people (fully booked), first day 1 track, 2nd day 2 tracks; small but cozy venue, I only knew a couple of people, both had their own presentation; I presented on how metadate can automate production. Some presentation on hardware, others on upcoming EU regs. One was a security engineer on docs for Parliament, they have a huge amt of docs, some stuff on AI, as well as from lang. and translation industry..
    - Leroy; worked with Dipo when we were both working together
    - Frank; he spoke on 'Ins and outs of doing DITA with structured authoring.'
    - Kris; you mentioned digital product passport; fits with metadata; gives tech frame for what metadata needs to go into digital passport, how to put it in.
    - Nancy; is it something that has to accompany a product when it goes between contries?
    - Frank; don't know a lot, just know it has to go with the docs. don't know how it's handled or distributed. DPP
    - Kris; did folks have sense of why attendance was high? It's regularly ~60, this year 100?
    - Frank; not sure; I'll ask the Tekom folks, who organize it.
    - Leroy; what about S1000D standard?
    - Frank; there was a basic presentation about it, some of the lingo, some folks in audience who were familiar with it; nothing besides that.
    - Leroy; is it still in development, or has it been stable for awhile?
    - Frank; it's been maintained for a very long time, it's for aircraft. now on issue 5.? It's very complex, you need to have a CMS to really do it.
    - Bob; we had someone present on that in Boston DUG, should be able to find that presentation on the web page. I was at a similar conferennce to ConVex, but for S1000D, in 2023, there were many diff stakeholders involved, system vendors, customers, airlines, government, military....
    - Leroy; I'm curious about whether it's being adopted in new groups, or mostly folks who've been using it forever?
    - Bob; if you're in aviation, esp as a mfr, you'd have to be in it. legally.
    - Kris; if you're producing machinery for these industries, you couldn't not be doing this. so there are no new adopters

    4. Committee notes effort
    Committee Notes. https://github.com/oasis-tcs/dita/wiki/DITA-TC-Committee-Notes
    Updated description of mission https://groups.oasis-open.org/discussion/updated-mission-description
    - Kris; any updates?
    - Leroy; I've been emailing Stan, we'll meet later today to discuss some questions. when I joined the TC, there were instructions on how to use our repo. also wondering, where do we publish this content?
    - Kris; typically, we use standard Git processes, folks have their own repos, build content in that, then open a pull request to main DITA repo, we have a separate repo for CNs,. separate from specs.
    - Leroy; who is hosting this content?
    - Kris; it's always thru OASIS, CNs are on a diff work track from specs, but they're still published on OASIS's website, with OASIS styling, HTML and PDF in addition to DITA source. It's been a while since we touched our stylesheets for CNs, though we'll probably need to bring them forward to use new DITA-OT, and make sure OASIS hasn't changed their styles since we built ours.
    - Leroy; where do they live in Git? I couldn't find them.
    - Kris; yes, there;s another repo for their stylesheets.
    - Leroy; I'd be happy to help with updating stylesheets
    - Kris; Robert, anything to add?
    - Robert; not much, actually, they seem to work out of the box,
    - Kris; our stylesheets for our various outputs are relatively clean.
    - Robert; we do have some OASIS-specific page linking, will have to be checked.
    - Kris; for CNs as well as spec?
    - Robert; not sure, may work just fine, just needs to be tested.
    - Leroy; can you share the link to those plugins with me?
    - Robert; sure
