    Dear UBL TC members:
OASIS is drafting a press release in anticipation of the upcoming approval of UBL Version 2.5 as an OASIS Standard. The official release date is TBD, pending the Call for Consent and final publishing. We will share the draft with you soon and look forward to celebrating this milestone!

    Call for Sponsor Quotes
We invite the TC's Sponsor members (IBM, Logius, Publications Office of the European Union, and the U.S. Department of Defense) to submit quotes for inclusion in the press release. Quotes will appear alphabetically in a designated section, and Sponsor members will be highlighted in the press release subhead. Note: If your organization is listed above and prefers not to be included, please notify me as soon as possible.

Here are a few important guidelines for submitting Sponsor quotes:
    • Deadline to submit your quote: Wednesday, 12 August 2026
    • Quote Length: 75 words max
    • Attribution: Include name and title
    • Submission: Send your quote to marybeth.minto@oasis-open.org

We encourage all TC members to help spread the word about this milestone! If you have marketing or communications contacts who should be included in our outreach plans, feel free to share their names and emails with me.

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.

    Thank you,
    Mary Beth

    Dear UBL TC members:
This is a friendly reminder that OASIS is collecting Sponsor quotes for our press release anticipating the approval of UBL Version 2.5 as an OASIS Standard. Here is the draft.

OASIS Sponsor members (IBM, Logius, Publications Office of the European Union, and the U.S. Department of Defense) are invited to submit a quote for inclusion in the press release and will be recognized in the press release subhead. We have extended the deadline for Sponsor quotes to the end of this week to accommodate the remaining submissions. So far, we've received one Sponsor quote from the Publications Office of the European Union.

    Submission Guidelines:
    Thank you,
    Mary Beth
