I was hoping someone else would agree to represent OSIM at the Cybersecurity Automation Village. But since there are no replies, I presume I'll be the OSIM "rep". Note I'm already wearing many hats at the village so I might not give OSIM the attention it deserves (and OSIM will appear less important since it's just me). But I will agree to give the OSIM lightening talk if no one else will. Note I won't put a lot of time into preparing for it so if anyone else has any 'intro to OSIM' or "what good is OSIM' material, please share it with me.

Subject: OSIM Invited to Participate in Cybersecurity Interoperability Workshop & Plugfest (April 2-3)
Dear OSIM TC Members,
We're excited to invite you to participate in the
Cybersecurity Interoperability Village Workshop & Plugfest, organized by the
Open Cybersecurity Alliance (OCA) Cybersecurity Automation Subproject (CASP). This event will take place
April 2-3, 2025, in Reston, VA (Washington, DC area) and will showcase real-world interoperability between OASIS Open standards and OCA subprojects.
The OSIM TC is invited to attend.
This is a prime opportunity to highlight OSIM's role in advancing cybersecurity automation while engaging with other standards leaders, developers, and security practitioners. We'd love to see OSIM represented, and there are multiple ways to get involved:
- Attend – Join us in person or virtually. The event is free, but in-person space is limited. Register [here].
- Present – We're giving each OASIS work initiative 5 minutes on the agenda for a quick update. If you'd like to represent OSIM, let us know by 17 March.
- Demonstrate – Showcase OSIM in action during the Plugfest. If you're interested, we'll connect you with the technical team supporting live demos. Contact us by 17 March, if interested.
Your participation will drive awareness of OSIM within the broader cybersecurity community. If you're interested or have questions, please reach out-I'd be happy to set up a call to discuss details.
For more information, visit the Workshop & Plugfest website [here]. Looking forward to hearing from the TC.
Regards, Jane
