I've let you all down, and I apologize. I've simply not had the time recently to support this group in the way it deserves. After Duncan withdrew as Secretary I've not been able to lean in enough to keep momentum up. I'm sorry for that.
Regretfully I've come to realize that I can't give the group the attention it needs in order to properly thrive, and as such I'm going to step down from the Chair position. The OSIM work is important, and it needs a chairperson who can dedicate significant time to incubate it and drive it forward. Sadly, my work and personal circumstances prevent me from being that person.
There may be others at Google who can step in and help further - I will be seeking them internally. In the meantime, I hope in the New Year we can find a suitable replacement from existing membership to take over the OSIM Chair position and get OSIM back on track.
