    Hi Patrick:

My apologies, I thought that I had answered your question about editing the homepage previously. This is something that can be done by any TC chair or secretary. (I can also confer special privileges on anyone else you tell me to)

Sorry, different from the last time you sent instructions. But works for me.

I'm not sure what you mean about being able to create new pages? Are you wanting to add some sort of new contact to your homepage in the workspace?

For example, we would like to move "Technical Work Produced by the Committee," likely with different formatting to:

/home/work_of_ODF_TC.html (for example, I don't have approval for a page name, title, etc.)

So that we can shorten the homepage and make it more focused.

Regarding subscribing to comment mailing lists, please forward me those messages as I don't think I have seen them. Or tell me who needs adding and I can just do it in the background.

I'll forward the messages but the concern is that if we are a public forum organization, then there needs to be an easy, email subscription, way to join the comment list. Joining the "community" and then joining a list is really too much friction.

Hope you are looking forward to a great weekend!

    Kelly,

A nudge on the issue of my editing the ODF homepage and being able to
    create new pages.

Not to mention the questions from TC members about making it easier to
    subscribe to the comment list.

Hope you are having a great week!

    Hi Patrick:

I just replied to the email from Francis in a separate thread.

Regarding the new page you are looking for, I don't believe this exact functionality exists to create an entirely new page. This homepage works off of the idea of linking to other places in the workspace or to external sources.

A few other potential solutions come to mind:
    - We could move content in document/file format to the 'documents' folder in the 'workspace' tab
    - We could shift material to a GitHub repository. Our options for this differ depending on the intended user (TC member vs. general public)
    - We could find some other way to structure the homepage depending on what you are looking to accomplish

Let me know and I would be happy to try and come up with a solution.
