# OMOS Meeting 25-01-2022 #

## Attendees ##
- Phil (minutes)
- David
- Robert

Apologies: Yoshito

## Business ##

Previous meeting's minutes seconded by Robert and accepted.

DF presented latest January HTML build PR 58

Further interactive review of specification

...removed unused properties for well-formed tags that Jliff doesn't have

...`cp` for roundtripping inline elements, wait for Yoshito

...all xml attributes are now properties

RVE: `properties` is recognized json terminology

PR: +1 for `JLIFF Object Properties`

Created issue #59 and assigned to DF

RVE: noticed any more difficulties?

DF: No, just extensions

...People cannot roundtrip unless they know both schemas - `mustUnderstand`

RVE: json uses utf-16 anything above has to be encoded using surrogate pairs

...some manuals leave context such as `files: []` property when describing `file` but just grey out so you have context but it is not the focus

DF: perhaps we could use that technique in the roundtrip section

PR: most serialization libraries and parsers will take care of low level representations like `\n\t`

#55 close along with PR

#52 spec needs to include information on desired behavior
