• Tasks done:

  • Reordered packet types so the first 16 are the same as MQTT. Gateway Advertisement and Discovery are at the end of the range.

  • Updated the working draft to use Server rather than Gateway as agreed last time. Gateway is reserved for use when there is a back end connection to an MQTT server.

  • Suggested text for new Server/Client/Gateway definitions: https://github.com/oasis-tcs/mqtt/issues/90 – also removes references to multicast which we can remove if this text is approved

  • Removed radius fields from SEARCHGW and Forwarder Encapsulation, and replaced with technology neutral fields (in https://github.com/oasis-tcs/mqtt/issues/85)

  • Proposal to handle client address changes mid-connection: https://github.com/oasis-tcs/mqtt/issues/88 – would also help to address Davide’s comment in 3.6.2

  • Updated text in 4.14 to address Davide’s comment about optional waiting for a SLEEPRESP

  • where are the missing Sleep/Wake constraints that Andy mentioned last time – in the state machine?

• Working draft todo:

  • Simon’s question in 4.4.2 – don’t we need to increment the packet id on retry in some cases (CONNECT)

  • review and update entire draft for use of Packet and Application, Will and Retained Message terms

  • gather conformance statements and compete Appendix B
