The spec has an algorithm spacified as "www.w3.org/TR/2000/CR-xml-c14n-20010315". I have found the latest Canonical XML spec to be designated "www.w3.org/TR/2001/REC-xml-c14n-20010315" (boldface indicating differences). In the latest Schema, I notice that the syncReply attribute has a default use, which appears to be "required", but the Message Service spec indicates that this attribute is OPTIONAL. (line 918). Also, as a nit, there are two mentioned errorCodes which are not included in the summary on page 32, ...

It appears that the Role in "To" and "From" is required, according to the Schema; however the documentation indicates a zero or one inclusion. Also the "type" attribute to "PartyId" used to be without namespace qualification; now it appears to be "eb" qualified. Bob

I'm wondering if the parsing of the ebXML Header (contained in the SOAP Header) is a SOAP or ebXML function. Specifically, if the ebXML information cannot be parsed correctly, should this be reported as a SOAP Fault, or an ebXML Error? I'm hoping the latter, since otherwise, there may be a conflict ...
