OASIS members: We are pleased to announce that Transformational Government Framework (TGF) Pattern Language Core Patterns Version 1.0 has been approved by the membership as an OASIS Standard [1]. The call to vote was announced on 10 April 2013 [2] and closed 25 April 2013. A minimum of 49 affirmative votes were needed in order to win approval. The finally vote tally was 60 votes in favor and 13 votes opposed. Because the ballot received negative votes, in accordance with TC Process section 3.4.3, "Balloting for OASIS Standard approval" the TC approved a Special Majority Vote on 10 May 2013 requesting that TC Administration approve the Candidate OASIS Standard as an OASIS Standard [3]. I have approved this OASIS Standard and am pleased to present it to the members. The OASIS Standard can be found at: PDF (Authoritative):
