  • 1.  Text for CS Ballot Request Motions

    Posted 07-01-2010 15:51
At today's meeting we plan to vote to request Committee Specification Ballots for the XACML 3.0 core and legacy profiles. To provide some transparency while streamlining the process I have prepared a list of motions including Designated Cross References.

    The specs are:

    Core*
    Administrative
    SAML*
    Hierarchical*
    Multiple request*
    RBAC
    Privacy
    Digital Signature

The ones marked with * just went through a second public review.

I believe only Core has been modified since the review.

I think there is a single changelog for everything?

    Hi Hal,

Before you make these motions - if you proceed with these as written, each spec won't become a CS until the others reach OS which of course is impossible because they won't be CSs yet and therefore can't be submitted so they will all end up becoming CSs on Oct 1, and none of the cross-references will be updated.

You want to draft the motions with the equivalent CS approvals, not OS.

    Thanks,

    Mary
