I think this is more difficult than it needs to be.
Many of the roles, such as "Secretary" could revolve as Colleen suggested.
The OASIS organisation recognises no roles except "Chair", much less
requiring the many listed below. Stopping work because these roles haven't
been filled rather than continuing with the rather broken structure we have
(or a slightly improved structure if only a subset of the roles are filled)
isn't going to get us any closer to completing work.
As Chris and I have said to you privately, we are willing to assist in
converting our issues lists into whatever source format required by the
change / issue tracking process put in place. That's a major hole in our
current process and our ~300 issues in the new format would be a great start
(and a major undertaking). Even if we are only able to get through the
editorial issues (the bulk of our comments) or the 165 issues outstanding
since 1.09, we'll have significantly improved the specification.
While we all much appreciate the time and effort you, David and Arvola have
put into this, much great technical input has come from everyone in the
group. I'd hate to see that input lost through a lack of administrative
volunteers.
Let's choose an issues tracking format, look for volunteers with whatever
commitment they can make and continue improving a great document.
