    I thought I would pass along a reference to the HL7 Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) Datatypes as represented in XML amd JSON since we are facing a similar task.     The OASIS CTI has also migrated the STIX/TAXII/CYBOX specs from XML to JSON.
