Fellow UBL TC members, We need to make some decisions regarding the agenda in order to accommodate the plans of some of the attendees. The meeting starts after lunch on Monday (say 13:00? 14:00?) and ends at lunch on Friday (12:00). General committee business and horizontal topics affecting all subcommittees will be addressed as the first and last agenda items for the week. Pre-award topics will be discussed parts of Monday and parts of Tuesday due to the Pre-award chair being able to attend only those days. Transportation, small business, post-award, and payfin topics will be addressed through the rest of the week ... would participants please speak up if there are date/time priorities for these topics during the week ... perhaps to let those who are not able to attend in person to attend by Zoom during the scheduled sessions for each topic. I recognize it will be difficult to be inclusive of all members at a reasonable time for all members. I figure if we juggle topics through the wee then work can be done and topics revisited as necessary. The proposed UBL Conference is still a "no go" ... no changes since we lost the available venue. I have not yet chosen a hotel, but if here is a common choice, it would be helpful for us to stay close together in order to share transportation (I'm told it isn't very walkable from the city centre to the venue). Those of us attending, please send me an email with your hotel or that you don't have a hotel, and I'll check the responses of those who do have a hotel. This will also give me a count and a record of those who are attending. I'm looking forward to the event! All went well earlier this year in Australia and here we have twice the amount of time. Please feel free to discuss the agenda on the open mail list. Although the public is not invited to attend, I'm sure readers will be interested to know what we will be up to.
