Submitter's message This is an updated version (draft 4) of Darren Johnson's proposal EdDSA Using Additional Key Types . It is motivated by the fact that the use of the new curveName introduced in draft 3 may lead to confusion with namedCurve (which was actually chosen badly because namedCurve actually represents an object ID). This draft 4 replaces namedCurve by oId , and CKF_EC_NAMEDCURVE by CKF_EC_OID.
