See below. Is it possible to allow posting to virtio-dev for non-subscribers (possibly with moderator approval)? ----- Forwarded message from Christoph Hellwig <hch@infradead.org> ----- Date: Sat, 15 Mar 2014 07:00:17 -0700 From: Christoph Hellwig <hch@infradead.org> To: Rusty Russell <rusty@rustcorp.com.au> Cc: Randy Dunlap <rdunlap@infradead.org>, "Michael S. It's a strict bounce and not even moderator approval for non-subscribers. This means it might as well be non-existant for linux development and we should remove it from MAINTAINERS entirely. ----- End forwarded message -----

AFAICT For IP reasons, it's simply not possible. And so I agree it shouldn't be in the MAINTAINERS file for Linux. Cheers, Rusty.

Hi Michael,  That's correct. The -dev@ lists are set up to accept mail only from subscribers. Mail from non-subscribers is automatically rejected. Anyone can subscribe. It is not limited to OASIS members.  /chet On Sun, Mar 16, 2014 at 8:33 PM, Rusty Russell < rusty@au1.ibm.com > wrote: "Michael S.
