OASIS LegalXML Member Section

Greetings, The LegalXML Member Section Steering Committee has appointed and elected representatives that require your review this year. All 5 TCs must reconfirm your TC representative (or select a new one) and report your vote to legalxml-ms@lists.oasis- open.org before September 27. There are also three at-large seats eligible for nomination. T hese at-large members provide for community-wide representation in addition to the committee-specific representation on the Steering Committee. Nominations for the at-large seats start on September 13 and will close on September 27. NOTE the policy does not provide for the nomination period to be extended--all nominations MUST be received by September 27. You may nominate yourself or any current Member Section Member by email to  sc-election@oasis-open.org  Nominations must be accepted by the nominee, by email to both  sc-election@oasis-open. org  and  legalxml-ms@lists. oasis-open.org   Nominees are encouraged to share some background information to help the voters know who they are. If there are more than three nominations, voting will take place 1-15 October via a closed ballot. Otherwise, the at-large candidates are automatically selected and will hold their seat for one year.
