Greetings all,  We received the attached call for nominations from the IJIS and thought some of you might be interested. The nominations are for projects that "demonstrate an innovative approach and the applicability of the information sharing standards (e.g. NIEM, GRA, GFIPM, Trustmarks, etc.) within justice, public safety, or homeland security.  The project must have significantly contributed to the advancement of standards-based information sharing and interoperability by offering a solution that can serve as a model to other public sector agencies. The project must have been completed and operational by August 1, 2016." They are interested specifically in private/public partnerships.  OASIS has no involvement with this initiative. We are simply passing this along for your interest. Feel free to share it more broadly if you know of others who might be a project to nominate.  Best regards,  /chet  ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Subject: Nominate Your Interoperability Solution: Deadline Dec. 15 Date: Tue, 08 Nov 2016 13:43:22 +0000 From: IJIS Institute <IJIS_Institute@mail.vresp. com> Reply-To: IJIS Institute <reply-c4bb8be066-3228cfaeb2- 565e@u.cts.vresp.com> To: laurent.liscia@oasis-open.org Click to view this email in a browser IJIS Institute Innovation Award  Nominations Open  Nominations Close December 15, 2016 The IJIS Institute is currently accepting nominations for the IJIS Institute Innovation Award .   The annual Innovation Award recognizes technical innovation that has contributed significantly to the advancement of integration and interoperability in a justice, public safety, or homeland security project or program.  The Award, which is open to any company providing justice, public safety, or homeland security solutions, is for team achievement between an industry partner(s) and a Federal, state, local, tribal or territorial agency(ies).  The Award will be presented on March 2, 2017, at the IJIS Institute Badge & Tech Benefit & Awards Dinner .   The proceeds from the dinner will benefit the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF).    IJIS Institute Badge & Tech Benefit & Awards Dinner  March 2, 2017 Crystal Gateway Marriott Arlington, Virginia REGISTER NOW!                                         Honoring Technical Innovation & Interoperability  If you no longer wish to receive these emails, please reply to this message with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line or simply click on the following link: Unsubscribe Click here to forward this email to a friend IJIS Institute 44983 Knoll Sq.
