    BuyerReference as element is deprecated since UBL 2.5. Use the BuyerReference ASBIE instead.

    In UBL 2.1 <BuyerReference>12345</BuyerReference> can be used. Is that also valid in UBL 2.5?

    Is the following valid in UBL 2.5?

    <BuyerReference>12345</BuyerReference>

    <BuyerReference><BuyerReferenceCode>666666</BuyerReferenceCode></BuyerReference>

    Found the answer. BuyerReference is in two namespaces.

     

    <cbc:BuyerReference>12345</cbc:BuyerReference>

    <cac:BuyerReference><cbc:BuyerReferenceCode>666666</cbc:BuyerReferenceCode></cac:BuyerReference>
