This TISA workshop aims to bring together industry experts, car manufacturers, OEMs, emergency authorities, broadcasters, content providers and service providers.
Objective
Explore strategies to expedite the dissemination of critical emergency alerts and warnings from public authorities to travellers and vehicles, utilising the Common Alert Protocol (CAP) and TPEG Emergency Alerts and Warnings (EAW).

- TPEG Emergency Alerts and Warnings (EAW) from the user's perspective and Public Authorities requirements by BBK (The Federal Office for Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance, Germany)
- Case Studies:
- Current status of severe weather content by Meteoalarm
- Public Authorities needs to alert drivers & travellers by Mecom
- Car Manufacturers (OEM's), service providers requirements by TomTom
- Breakout sessions on strategic topics to expedite the dissemination of critical emergency alerts and warnings

The TISA workshop is co-allocated with the Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) implementation Workshop and takes place in the afternoon of 22 October (ahead of the CAP implementation Workshop on 23-24 October) | All events are taking place at the same venue (the Irish College in Leuven, Belgium)
Lunch will be provided to registered participants in advance of the workshop.
