during the CSAF 2.1 CSD01PR period, we received the email https://groups.oasis-open.org/discussion/csdpr01-feedback-1058-from-tc-member which linked to https://github.com/oasis-tcs/csaf/issues/1058. The editors assessed the suggestion and think that this would break the structure of the standard: Section 3 of our standard describes the JSON schema in a depth-first approach. Changing the structure as suggested in #1058 would introduce inconsistency to the structure of the standard used. Therefore, the editors recommend to not follow the suggestion.
I hereby submit the following motion and request that if seconded and no objection received per this list before one week has passed on 2025-08-26 13:00 UTC to automatically carry. The motion may be superseded by a passing motion during the TC meeting on 2025-08-20.
