    - Dawn; for Convex, I put a 2.0 panel on agenda, with just TC members; please just show up and be on stage...I'm assuming that if you're coming, ou'll be on the panel
    - Kris; can folks let us know
    - Bob, Stan will be there
    - Dawn; eliot'not coming because of eclipse, as is robt
    - Bob; stan and I are canceling the dita user group mtg. Frank will be speaking to us about LwD
    - Kris; please update the wiki page for that
    - Stan; good presentation on markup last weds.

    3. Report back from DITA Europe and DITA-OT Day
    - Dawn; it was very good, had record attendance at both, only problem was room size and space, because of all the attendance. One session asked how many were already in DITA, vs exploring; mostly already in DITA. 75% already familiar/using DITA. couple of very big companies sent a lot of people because of location.
    - Frank; very positivve experiance, good atmosphere, people approached each other, and the mixture of talks was a bit broader that usual, possibly because so many from Finland, some case studies. , e.g. on DITA-OT day, a story about struggling with DITA/DITA-OT and how she gradually learned how to use it. DITA-OT has mostly reference doc, not user docs, so how do people start working with it? Do we have any feedback from Finnish attendees?
    - Dawn; the DITA-OT presentation you mention was both entertaining as well as thought-provoking; how do you get started with it? It was a good summary, couple of people in audience really shared her experience, so we need to think about what support there is for generating output. There was a lot of talk about AI, very well-attended; how does AI fit in with DITA. will see that in Convex as well.
    - Frank; looks like there are about 8 presentations on AI usage at Convex.
    - Kris; Robert thought that presentation was very good as well
    - Eric; I also thought the presentation from Justina pretty memorable; lots of diff topics, and it was nice to meet Jarno and Frank face to face.
    - Kris; Robert said you're considering repeating it in finland next year?
    - Dawn; we're trying to figure out why we got such good attendance there, so we're thinking about where we'll do it, getting it away from tekom was good.
    - Kris; good to hear

    4. Summary of glossary elements: what to keep, what not to keep
    Initial e-mail https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/dita/202402/msg00003.html (Anderson, 06 February 2024)
Response from Amber Swope https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/dita/202402/msg00007.html (Amber Swope, 07 February 2024)
Response from Kris Eberlein https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/dita/202402/msg00013.html (Eberlein, 19 February 2024)
    - Dawn; Amber raises question of which one to keep? wrt glossShortform vs glossAcronym. are we being as semantic as we can, if we choose to keep acronym rather than shortform?
    - Kris; I agree, it's less semantic, but it is the strictly pragmatic choice, and we know that's what has been done in past, and current implementations, It would be more problematic to remove acronym. based on existing spec definitions around abbrevforms and acronym, It would be harder. maybe glossshortform might be more semantic, but removing synonym would cause more problems.
    - Leroy; as long as you have a rationale, and have it docuemnted, that should be enough
    - Eric; we already have some pragmatic decisions.
    - Kris; It's not only pragmatic, but in 1.2 and 1.3, we called out glossAcronym in docs and in spec wrt abbrevforms. This is like what we did in deciding not to completely revise bookmap; this is the same. It would be more disruptive to do the 'semantic' thing than it would be worthwhile doing.

    5. DITA 2.0 proposal
Remove elements from glossentry specialization https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/dita/202402/msg00012.html (Eberlein, 19 February 2020)
    - Kris; here's the current proposal, I need to add glossShortform to list of removed items, as per Amber's note
    - Nancy; maybe add a list of our target audiences?
    - Kris; will do
[gen'l agreement this is ready to go.]
    - Kris; are folks good with me changing proposal and we vote on it next week
    [approval from TC]
